Teams have great ideas, but executing it within the legacy hierarchy is challenging.
WHAT I WISH I KNEW IN MY FSI DAYS
That networks and relationships are critical. You can’t underestimate the relationships you build. As a young person, I didn’t realize that as much as I realize and appreciate it now. I would have worked even more effectively by focusing on those relationships. Slowing down to invest time with the teams so they truly understand, and buy in, to the vision makes a big impact.
